On the western side, rain is the common condition and a damp outer box is the usual arrival state. Check that the packaging is dry before opening it. East of the Cascades, summer runs hot and winter runs cold, so the swing is wider. Sealed lyophilised vials handle both, provided they reach the labelled storage condition promptly.
